Why T. Whitaker Painting?

We are an established painting company with an excellent reputation and a 20 year track record. Why trust just anyone? We can take care of everything from the prep work to faux and/or artwork.  Couple that with a complimentary decorating consultation and you get complete service from your first phone call to the finishing touch.  Furthermore, all work is done by Tim or directly under his supervision.  We don’t send a “crew” to your house!

Is T. Whitaker Painting expensive?

We wouldn’t have stayed busy for 20 years if we were overpriced.  At the same time, you’re not hiring someone whose primary goal is to “blow in and blow out”.  We think (and so do thousands of our customers) that our pricing is fair considering the level of service you receive.

How can I be sure I’ll like the faux and/or artwork?

For a fee we will do sample boards for you to look at ahead of time.  If you do the job, we credit the sample board charge.

What if I have trouble picking colors?

Liz is happy to come to your home with color samples and guide you in your selections.  The final decision (and responsibility) is ultimately yours.

What do I need to do ahead of time?

Very little.  We simply ask that you move or remove all small items so we can quickly move the large furniture.  We will remove blinds and window treatments and reinstall them as well. However, some custom treatments may require you or the original decorator to fine tune. 

What brands of materials do you use?

Since every job is different, we do not lock ourselves into one particular brand or line of paint or materials.  We are familiar with the different qualities of many major brands and select the ones that are right for YOUR job. Pennypinching on material is out of the question!

Are there any hidden charges?

Absolutely not.  When we give you a price, we stick to it.  The only thing that must be added in is NJ sales tax on the labor portion of the price.

What about payment?

We generally take no money until the job is done.  We do, however, request payment in full upon completion of the work.  Cash, check and credit cards are all accepted.
